French 18th C Clock

Fabulous piece of 1700's workmanship. There is a portrait of a French Officer on the pendulum. I looked inside and noticed it had a consignment sticker, so the Ritz actually doesn't own it. This place is like a museum, might as well have consignment pieces.

Chandeliers for your Dining Room

If you have a Ballroom in your house, you may want to check with to procurement director at The Ritz. This has about a 6-foot diameter and I am sure over 1000 crystals. Its the real deal!

Conference Give-away

I am sure Mrs. Smith would love for me to bring this home, but I will give it away in our drawing later today to a lucky banker or spouse. I found it in a cute store in the French Quarter - www.houseoforleans.com . If you are in New Orleans, got visit Kristen at 429 Royal Street. Great prices compared to other shops in the Quarter. And if you need a student loan for college, you see the address on the picture (shameless plug).

Travelin' Fool

Well, this week finds me in New Orleans attending a banking conference at - The Ritz Carleton. Just love all of their beautiful antique furniture, but they wouldn't dare paint any of it. Since I am remote, I will send through some individual pictures so you can see the priceless pieces, some brought over on ships from Europe in the 1700's.

My Dad's Childhood Home

This week I was in Ft Collins, CO for work, and I got to see the house where my father lived as a child. Pretty cool considering there were 5 children. Looks like a two-bedroom place, with a basement. In old pictures I have seen - the house was white, sure looks cool red.

Don't give up on me

It has been a couple of weeks since my last post. I have been on the road with work, but I have finished a few pieces over the last couple of weekends that I need to get posted, the pictures are on my camera a few thousand miles from where I am. I am actually in a Starbucks in Lakewood, CO, getting ready to head into an appointment, but I had a second and thought I would update my readers.

Finished a couple of tables in the last two weeks and currently working on a "subway sign" dresser. Also repainted the Kissimmee Orange Trunk with a Union Jack flag in several shades of gray.

I hope to get at least one of those posted this weekend for you all.
